Hi everyone, I'm trying to upload files to a new repository and am receiving the following message, regardless of file size or number (I tried both large EEG data files (1GB) and small (3MB) behavioral data files.

504 Gateway Time-out The server didn't respond in time.

I'll try installing the client on my Mac but would like to report this in case this will happen also using the clients.

Many thanks in advance, Moran

Thank you Michael! I see now that some of the files are uploaded despite the error message that followed the change commit. However, they do not appear in the sub-folder I chose for the upload. is there a way to move them, or do I need to delete them and upload again?

If you want to stick to the web upload, you need to delete and upload again.

You can also create folders first via the webform, but knowing the nested nature of BIDS, using the command line client would probably be the more convenient option.

Thanks again for the quick reply. I am very new to this - where can I find info about the webform? I looked at the tutorial but there was no mention of creating folders before the upload.

I tried working with the command-line client following the tutorial step-by-step but had trouble with the commands...

I'm trying to upload more files now, and I see they also do not appear in the chosen sub-folder

Directly above the "Drop files here or click to upload" area is a line that states the name of your repository. Right next to it is a field with the caption "Add subdirectory". Any files you upload will be uploaded to this directory.

You can find a description of the web upload in our help pages: https://gin.g-node.org/G-Node/Info/wiki/Web+Interface
